Support CATL.

CATL is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to the advancement of academic development and research.  Our specific vision is to advance the work of text-critical experts, mentor young scholars, and educate the public.  We are grateful for donors who wish to further our goals by helping to fund CATL (see below).   In addition, we encourage you to contact us if you would like to consider substantial support of a particular project.

You might have been contacted by someone who is raising funds through CATL.  Frequently CATL provides a venue for donations to support established scholars and/or students who wish to travel to important training opportunities or conferences. For example, a group of students attended the 2019 Birmingham Colloquium on NT Textual Criticism.  Several of them raised tax-deductible donations through CATL.  In addition, CATL gave all of them $500 towards their costs.  This enabled the students to not only attend the conference but to see ancient artifacts in London, Lichfield, and Oxford, England.  Several of this group are now working on postgraduate degrees in Biblical Studies or related areas.
